Geocurious is an independent editorial project operated by Federico Pesce, an individual (sole trader), ("Geocurious", "we"), owner of the website geocurious.it. By using the site or making a donation you enter into a contract with Geocurious. Contact: geocuriousblog@gmail.com.

By continuing to use the site, its content, games and donation features you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. You confirm you are of legal age to contract or, if acting for an organisation, that you have authority to bind it.

You agree not to:

• use the site for unlawful purposes or in breach of applicable law;
• commit fraud, send spam or post deceptive content;
• infringe our or third parties' intellectual property rights;
• interfere with the security of the service: malware, intrusion attempts, unauthorised scanning, mass scraping or circumvention of technical limits;
• resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the service.

If you hold an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out through it, and you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

The site, the Geocurious name and logo, the articles, the country profiles, the code and the design remain our property (or that of the respective licensors, such as photographs provided via Unsplash and their authors). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to consult the content for personal, non-commercial use.

The site is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the absolute accuracy of the geographic and statistical data published, which is for informational purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Card payments and donations made on the site are handled by our online reseller Paddle. Terms relating to payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

We may suspend or terminate access to the site or to an account in case of material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of the usage rules. On termination, account data may be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the 12 months preceding the event. Indirect, consequential or special damages (loss of profits, data or goodwill) are excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury.

These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are subject to the courts of the consumer's place of residence where applicable, otherwise to the competent Italian court for the site owner.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or the law. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update.
